The left and/or right rear brake caliper assemblies may be missing an internal bushing, allowing the O-ring seal to move and brake fluid to leak. Remedy: Dealers will replace the left and right rear brake calipers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan’s number for this recall is PC933. The two vehicles that were previously inspected under recall 21V-286 and did not receive a brake caliper replacement will need to have the new remedy completed.
1970-01-01	BACK OVER PREVENTION:DISPLAY FUNCTION	Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2022 Titan, Titan XD, Frontier, and 2021-2022 Rogue vehicles. The in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system may continuously reboot when the vehicle is restarted, which can result in an inoperative rearview display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, “Rear Visibility.” Remedy: The IVI software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 18, 2022. Owners may contact Nissan’s customer service at 1-800-867-7669. 2022-01-09	SEAT BELTS: REAR/OTHER:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY	Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Rogue vehicles. The rear seat belts for the left-hand and right-hand rear seats may not retract properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, “Occupant Crash Protection,” and 209, “Seatbelt Assemblies.” Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear seat belts, as necessary, free of charge. 2021-06-24	CHILD SEAT:VEHICLE TETHER ANCHOR \| SEATS:MID/REAR ASSEMBLY	Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021 Rogue vehicles. The second-row upper tether wires may have been improperly welded to the seatback frame, preventing a child seat from being securely anchored. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, “Child Restraint Anchorage Systems.” Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear seatbacks as necessary, free of charge. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2021 Nissan Rogue vehicles. The fuel hose may not be secured in the proper position and the fuel tank lock ring may not be fully seated. Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, reposition and secure the fuel hose and lock ring, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 1, 2021. Our SUV would not back up so we had to call dealership to come pick it up and the next day the dealership says the alternator went out and the guy that looked at it said the technician said he’s never had to put an alternator on a new vehicle like ours ours is a 2021 Rogue SUV and we also asked for a loaner vehicle because we have places we have to go we have been without our vehicle now for since the 29th of April the technician told me the only problem is it might take awhile to get one in an alternator This concerns me but One reason and even the technician said he has not had to replace any Alternators on a new vehicle like ours at least 5 years maybe one or two.. and that is my concern. Also why did this alternator go out so fast I did some research and it states that an alternator on this particular vehicle should last up to 180,000 miles around 7 years I’m a bit concerned about this also not having anything to drive I have dental appointments I have other appointments I have to keep and I have no way to go I do not understand why a dealership cannot loan you a vehicle until this problem is solved also I’m stating a month ago when I pulled out of a little convenience store put it in drive the dashboard started flashing and I was like what in the world is wrong it was saying malfunction system can’t be found I did some research and found another person that had the same problem I’m a little concerned about our SUV because when we bought it it was brand new it’s been taken care of nothing on our part I am concerned that a new vehicle it’s going to start having problems just a year old we bought our vehicle from Central Nissan up in Houston Texas. And due to the fact that they had a lot of road construction going on up there we chose to take it to Reliance which I was told that would be okay because the roads are all messed up the traffic gets dangerous getting back to the problem why does a big company like Nissan not comply with their customers and give them a loaner vehicle until their vehicle can be fixed and not my understanding is there are five recalls on this vehicle I’ve been doing a lot of studying now since this has happened so yes I’m not very happy I am a concerned customer I’m concerned now about my new vehicle the back brakes have to be fixed I read with some lugs could come off and cause a crash there are five that I looked at I only have three cards on recalls but I found two more again as biggest Nissan is why can’t they take care of their customers and give them a rental car or something to drive thank you sincerely [name redacted]
