2014 Ford Focus
Transmission Problems

"Brought this car 6/2021 for 5500 for my daughter, she could have serious been injured. Dealership screwed me. She only got to drive it a total of maybe 10,000. She was driving 55 mph and it shifted down then stalled. A clutch and new transmission was put it. 6 months later same thing happened and now car starts up but won’t go into reverse. I have tried going back on dealerships but that won’t return my calls."

2017 Kia Sorento
Engine Problems

"I was driving over Mt. Hood in OR with my 3 kids to a wedding and suddenly my car lost power, started shaking and the engine light was flashing. Had to get it towed back to WA and kia dealership said it needed a new engine. I paid over $6,000 for a new engine and kia won’t reimburse me. I have been fighting with them sine last year"

2013 Hyundai Sonata
Engine Problems
"Engine locked up, disassembled and found two rod bearings heated and stuck to crank shaft and one main bearing seized up. Found no debris on the oil or engine, I believe a faulty oil balance pump possible the blame."

2019 Ford Edge
Transmission Problems

"i purchased a 2019 Ford Edge with app. 60,000 miles on odometer. I am a 81 year old woman, and have not abused this car at all and have kept it serviced. About 5000 miles ago, the transmission began to surge. i took it to a Ford Mechanic twice. Each time he reprogrammed the computer, but neither time did it stop the surging. I took it back to the Ford Mechanic and he told me it needed a new transmission, which would cost me over 6000 dollars, For a vehicle that cost as much as it does, not to make it to at least 1000,000 miles without any major mechanical problem, the manufacturer should be held responsible to the buyer, by paying for the repair of the vehicle, /////it just ain’t right!"

2015 Jeep Cherokee
Transmission Problems

"Day 1 i bought my car transmission issues. Car was traded in 1.5mos ago i wasnt even aware of the recall. The dealer where i traded it in told me about the recall . They even lowballed the trade in offer due to the recall"

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Electrical Problems

"I have what appears to be a paracitic draw. I have been through 6 batteries in 4 months. I took it to dealership and their Star mechanic said it was the alternator. I bought a Mopar alternator and replaced it 3 days later both batteries dead again with a bad cell. I have read and this is a common problem with my particular vehicle. It would be nice to have an answer without having to put another $1000’s in it for a vehicle i am buying."
#4
2018 Chevrolet Malibu

"Was driving the malibu on the interstate traveling 75 mph and all of sudden vehicle started to slo dwn and on the dashboard appeared - engine power is reduced. this could have resulted in an accident and not safe as i do travel back and forth to college. i had to make my way over to breakdown lane, turn car off and then turn back on and drive again. this has happened several times so far with the most recent may 7, 2021 "

2013 Ford Fusion

2018 Ford F-150
Engine Problems
"After a long period of towing (approximately 4000# for 2+ hours)i stopped for gas. on restart of the engine, it had a very rough idle and there was a warning light for the auto start/stop system. it died and would not run for more than 5 seconds. to get it to run i had to keep it in neutral and rev the engine to approximately 2500rpm. it did not repeat the issue for the remainder of the trip (another 2+ hours of towing). this situation was in a gas station but could have been much worse if it was on a public road. 2017 Ford Escape
Transmission Problems
"Transmission has been bad ever since purchasing the vehicle. I just spent 3990.00 to have this repaired
Purge valve assembly has been not functional also. I have taken the car in twice for a reset on this and my check engine light is still on and when I have this checked it is this same item that is not working properly"
